SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL
ASCENSION CONFERENCE
2025 Annual Report
We are deeply grateful for the continued generosity and support of our Parish community, schools, donors, and volunteers. In 2025, Ascension SSVP experienced significant growth in both the number of people we assisted and the scope of programs we were able to offer. Rising food costs and ongoing economic pressures increased the need within our community, and your support allowed us to respond with compassion and action.
This year, we assisted more individuals than ever before and continued to strengthen our partnerships with Ascension Parish schools. Our volunteer base also grew, enabling us to expand outreach and deliver services more efficiently and consistently.
Fundraising efforts in 2025 were especially impactful. Our second annual fundraising dinner was a great success, and the Matching Donor Program significantly amplified the generosity of our supporters, allowing us to extend help to even more families in need.
2025 Highlights:
-
Food Hamper Deliveries: 595
-
People Assisted: 2,493
-
Angel Tree Program:
77 Christmas gift hampers delivered, bringing Christmas joy to 153 adults and 206 children — representing a 10% growth in the number of families served and a 17% increase in the number of people assisted.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed through donations, fundraising participation, and volunteer service. Your generosity makes this vital work possible and continues to bring hope and dignity to those we serve.
With sincere gratitude,
